Canadian Businesses & Heartbleed Scare- What You Should Know
Lately there has been concern with a security bug called Heartbleed, and as of late last week this has been addressed of by our IT team.
Heartbleed affects a service known as OpenSSL, which helps secure your website. As of April 14 / 2014, none of our sites use, or have a need to use SSL technologies, meaning this bug has no effect on how your site operates on the internet.
That being said, our IT team has taken preventative measures to ensure that we are not at risk now, or ever and ensuring our servers are up to date, and that our security is in top shape.
